I found this place very pleasant. I very much enjoyed the food. Considering I love seafood. I went here for its grand opening last year from my college class , and I immediately fell in love. I love the spicy Asian shrimp , I would pick up a right aster class on my way to work . I haven't been there since spring, but can't wait to go back there in fall when class starts again. The only thing I have to say is that is kind of small , for such good food I wish it was bigger and not have everyone around you.

After finding a Groupon for this place, I knew instantly we had to go check it out. I just wanted to try a place with some great seafood, but at a decent price. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by the staff. We were offered samples of the salads to help us make our decision a lot easier. The guy behind the counter was extremely friendly and more than happy to help my girlfriend (who takes an hour just to decide on what she wants to eat). Once we finally placed an order, our food was ready within 10 minutes at the most. Everything was excellent. You can not go wrong with the crab salad, nor the macaroni salad. The shrimp, fish, and conch was also amazing, great flavor, not over cooked. I will definitely be returning to Mr. Shrimp in the near future!!

Be careful! You can get addicted to this place. I found out about this place from a friend when I told her that I was craving Spicy Crab legs and Shrimp from Joe's Crab Shack. Joe's closest restaurant is in Ft. Lauderdale and they are not exactly cheap. Mr. Shrimp has very reasonable prices for their seafood. I have not looked back at Joe's since. I go in there about once a week. I embarrassed to say the employees know my name. I had their conch both steamed and fried and it's delicious. I love their spicy steamed peel and eat shrimp with butter and garlic. The crab legs are also really good. Everything is made to order and is very fresh.

Are here once when it first opened and I was not very impressed. I decided to give it a second chance since I work in the area and was pleasantly surprised! I'm not sure if they have new owners or cooks but the food was delicious. I had the fried oysters platter with fries and krab salad. The oysters were perfectly seasoned and prepared as well as the fries were seasoned and had a hint of lemon on them. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant nice and clean. I will definitely be back!

i was there last january ,the food was extremely delicious ,the service was great ,you don't wanna leave that place .it was a great experience,though i am from louisiana and you know we have good food in la ,but i cant wait to go back to mr shrimp .thumps up

I read the reviews on Yelp! So I decide that my wife and I would give it a try and we were not disappointed. Tammy who was managing the location did a great job on helping us select our dinner. She took her time and explain everything that was available. She answered all of my wife's questions about the menu. My wife and I decided on the steamed shrimp and they were wonderful. It came on a bed of rice and I am not a big rice fan but it was great. I had the Krab salad and it was very good and the hush puppies was the best I have had in South Florida. They were Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside with just a bit of onion in the batter. It is not the fanciest eating place but the food was great and the prices were reasonable. I will be back!

Wasn't what I was expecting. Went in with high hopes since we read all the great reviews on here..but, looking at it now I see these were from over a year ago so I'm sure the employees now aren't the same ones. The lady at the counter (who is also the cook) wasn't very friendly to begin with. I should of taken that as a sign and just left before ordering but decided to give the place a chance anyways. The food was mediocre. Everything is fried in the same fryer (you can watch them cook since the place is so small) So if you like everything to taste like fried fish then that's a plus I guess. The drink machine was out so was forced to get bottled drinks, which I prefer fountain if I'm going out to eat. Place felt really dirty, the chairs and tables had some sort of sticky substance on them. Then the place was closed as soon as we got our food, which they could of warned us. So we felt really rushed since they were walking around with brooms and mops. I can say when we were leaving that the counter lady was actually nice then and asked if the food was good, which we lied of course and said it was good. Overall $27.00 wasted.

After reading the good reviews I was excited to try the shrimp and I'm glad I did. I got take out of a half pound of steamed jumbo shell off shrimp with the krab salad and fries. The shrimp were steamed perfectly with just a touch of butter and spicy seasons. A half pound was about 14 shrimp. The fries were done just right, still soft with just a little crispy outside and the krab salad was also good. The owner was very polite and helpful while I decided what to try. I wanted just a little butter and spices and he prepared it just right. This was as good as I expected and I will be going back.

First time to Lake Worth and I'm soooooo glad we stopped here. Steamed Cajun shrimp, you can't go wrong! Hush puppies, crab salad, conch and Pico (more like Mediterranean salad) were all outstanding. Looking forward to returnnrong soon. Thank you Mr. Shrimp!

Fantastic! Wasn't sure but when I read the good reviews I decided to give it a try. You can't go wrong with the fried conch and shrimp over rice. The crab salad and hush puppies are great sides. It is fast, casual and delicious!

Okay so I was craving shrimp and I decited what better place then Mr.shrimp when I walked in I was greeted by two pretty nice young girl both very attentive and deff on their job . when I asked them what was good the one "Carley" told me to try the jambalaya she made earlier today, it was so good !! Deff not what I was expecting but I will definitely be back because of the great service and yummy food ! Carley is hands down the best they got .

Service was mediocre at best, the guy who finally took my order after standing at the counter for 5 minutes was also the guy who was doing the cooking. Very inattentive, asked me 3 times while taking my order if ti was :to go". I ordered the shrimp and fish combo with french fries and crab salad as the sides, This was $14.00 dollars for one small fish fillet, 6 medium shrimp a small scoop of crab salad and a really small order of french fries, TOTALLY OVER PRICED THE THE PORTIONS. I'll be going to "Buds Chicken and Seafood" for my seafood combos in the future, $8.99 for 2 fish fillets, 6 shrimp, a huge helping of french fries, coleslaw, and 2 corn fritters. Don't waste your time or your money at "Mr. Shrimp"

Small, casual seafood place with about 8 tables in strip mall on SE corner of Congress and 10th Ave. North (same mall as Aldi's and Harbor Freight). Open about a year--another branch in Belle Glade. Eat in or take our. Meals served on disposable plates. Everything cooked to order. Great steamed scallops, shrimp platters including rice and two sides about $14. Also fried oysters, shrimp, etc. They accept Restaurant.com coupons.

Extremely casual. Order at the counter and they bring you the food. It's served on styrofoam plates. The food is excellent. Very good seafood. FRESH. I think we will return-perhaps for take out next time!

Whenever I am in Lake Worth, Florida area, I always hit up MR. SHRIMPS. You cannot beat the FRESH seafood and the friendly family owned staff. The steamed shrimp and the crab claws are always my number one choice. The Mr. Shrimp Seasoning is the perfect combination of spice and seasoned salt along with the melted butter. Make sure you order a side of Mac salad to supplement the seafood.

Like a previous tipper, I was skeptical too. People behind counter very nice and helpful and the fried shrimp (12-14) were wonderful. Not like my home town of New Orleans, but very good nonetheless. With the shrimp I opted for fries (not so hot) and the Krab salad (very good). All for $10.99. Not bad. They also had a conch fritter combo on special, but we saw that one a little to late. Mr Shrimp is worth a try.

I was in the mood for seafood and Mr. SHRIMP was the perfect solution. Quick and fresh. Not a whole lot of sitting room, but you pick up to go easily. Great prices and very friendly staff. Definitely worth checking out!

Wonderful steamed shrimp! I had, what I believe to be local pinks, steamed in the Cajun garlic butter... cooked to perfection! Absolute perfection! Pretty spicy but I ordered them that way. They can adjust the seasoning for you. Also had the hushpuppies, they weren't greasy but I believe the oil imparted a negative taste. I will be back & will order steamed shrimp for our parties.

Based on the positive reviews and FB posts I decided to try it for Friday night dining. The hostess could have been tired because she was elbow leaning on the counter and double charged for an order of fried fish and shrimp combo. The gentleman cooking was very outgoing and personable. The fresh seafood was prepared hot but surprisingly didn't cause a wait over 10 minutes. The hostess failed to inform of the price difference for the fish selection however the cook, which i believe may have been the owner/manager honored my choice without any additional charge. The fish was not seasoned nor did not have much flavor. The shrimp and fries were served seasoned. The portion was more than enough....2 pieces of fish, 6 shrimps and fries. The establishment could use some sprucing up. The food prepping area was clean. Overall it was a decent first experience. Im not sure how often this will become a weekend dining choice.

Went here for the first time on Tuesday and we got the seafood combo with two sides. I got fried scallops and shrimp with two sides and thought it was great!! It was made to order, and the seafood was large and fresh. The sides (pasta salad and krab salad) were much better than expected. I will gladly go back (but maybe call ahead to order). They've been around a loooong time in Belle Glade and hope they make it here.
